What's the difference between magic and mentalism?
Magic is visual — cards, coins, and objects doing what shouldn't be possible. Mentalism is magic with the mind — reading thoughts, predicting choices, and creating a sense of real psychological connection. Shine's performances blend both.
Does Shine travel outside Austin for shows?
Yes. Shine performs across Texas — Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and beyond — plus nationally for the right events. Travel is included in your quote.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you have a date. Weekends and peak seasons (fall corporate events, spring and summer weddings) fill up fastest, sometimes months out.
How long is the show?
Stage shows typically run 20 to 60 minutes. Strolling and close-up magic are available on their own or paired with a shorter stage finale, and custom formats are available.
What size audience or venue works?
Everything from full ballrooms and corporate auditoriums to small conference rooms. The format adapts to your space and crowd size.
What does the venue need to provide?
A cleared performance space, audio for larger rooms, and standard event access and parking. Strolling sets need nothing at all.
Can guests participate in the show?
Yes — audience participation is central, especially the mentalism portions. It's always done without embarrassment or putting anyone in an unwanted spotlight.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on your event type, location, and format. Reach out for a quote.
What if I need to reschedule?
Just reach out early. Shine accommodates rescheduling based on availability.
